💩🚨 WANTED: The Phantom Pooch (and their owner!) 🚨💩

Our little nursery detectives have made some signs to help spread an important message...

🐶 PLEASE PICK UP YOUR DOG POO! 🐶

On Friday, our grass was completely cleared and cleaned after being covered in dog poo. Fast forward to this morning and it's covered again. While our children have had great fun using these signs, it's not quite as much fun for nursery staff who are having to start their day searching for and cleaning up dog mess before welcoming children into nursery.

Dog fouling isn't just unpleasant – it's unhygienic and can pose a health risk to young children who use these outdoor spaces every day.

We know most dog owners are responsible and respectful, but unfortunately one person seems determined to ignore the rules. We do have CCTV footage and if this continues, we will be looking at passing the information on to the appropriate authorities.

So please, help us keep our nursery grounds clean, safe and poo-free for our children. Share this post and let's see if we can solve the mystery of the serial pooper! 🕵️‍♀️💩

Our little voices can make a big difference 🌍💚

Today our children proudly held up their “No Idling Engines” banner outside nursery to help spread an important message — cleaner air for everyone.

By switching off engines while waiting, even for a few minutes, we can help reduce pollution around our nursery and create a healthier environment for our children to learn, play and grow.

Last week our Tremendous Tigers enjoyed potting some wild flowers indoors as part of our sustainability learning 🌼🌱

The children loved getting hands-on with soil, seeds, and planting while learning all about growth, nature, and caring for plants. Next week, we will be transferring them into our garden as we begin getting our outdoor area summer ready.

Activities like these help children develop an understanding of the world around them, encourage responsibility and patience, and teach them how to care for living things. The children explored what plants need to grow and why looking after our environment is so important 🐝🌸

We can’t wait to watch our flowers bloom over the coming weeks!
