Snowy Owl Creations! 🦉❄️
We had so much fun today making fluffy snowy owls! The children used sponges and forks to create textured feathers and added big bright eyes and little nests.
They all look absolutely spectacular — well done everyone!

It was all glue, glue and a bit more glue this evening as our crafty crew created the most wonderful paper plate foxes!

The children used bright orange, yellow and sunshine tissue paper to build up beautiful layered coats, with pointy ears and sleepy little faces. The best part? We gave each fox a fluffy white chest and collar made from recycled stuffing from an old teddy — a perfect cozy touch and a great way to reuse and recycle! ♻️

Today was all about going LARGE!
Connect 4, Twister and Sorry all supersized and the children absolutely loved it.

We’ve had lots of laughing, twisting, stretching and cheering. Great fun watching AND participating was had by all!

A brilliant way to build teamwork, balance, coordination and most importantly... lots of giggles!

Tonight’s Craft: Sewing Leaves 🍂

A calm, cosy activity tonight using just recycled cardboard and wool ends!
The children have been sewing their own autumn leaves and the concentration has been wonderful to see.

It’s been a lovely way to work on fine motor skills, creativity and mindfulness... and look how gorgeous the results are! 🧡

Our role play area started as a pharmacy this week... and the children had other ideas! It has now magically transformed...

Our role play area started as a pharmacy this week... and the children had other ideas!
It has now magically transformed into a Vets Surgery!

From bandaging up poorly rabbits, to answering the phones and packing "medicine" into bags, the children have thrown themselves into imaginary play.
It’s been so lovely to watch them develop confidence, empathy and even spark ideas for future careers! 🩺💊

We will be exploring the magic of autumn in craft this week!

The children will learn how leaves change from green to red, orange and gold before falling to the ground.
