Today The University of Sheffield hosted our Girls into Electronics event for highschool students to get a taster of what we do here in the EEE department.

The day consisted of lectures and interactive activities with an all female ambassador and staff team to provide role models and inspire the next generation of engineers.

What a brilliant day to be a part of!! Thankyou to everyone who came along and all who helped to set up and facilitate the event.

It has been a great start to the 17th International Conference on Flow Processes in Composite Materials which welcomed 100 international delegates from academia and industry to Sheffield. 👏

Thank you to Sheffield City Council and voco Sheffield by IHG for hosting our fantastic drinks reception at the Winter Gardens to end the day on a high.

Today will see the conference continue with more presentations and posters before visiting the The University of Sheffield AMRC tomorrow for our 'Industry Day'. 🥰
