SURF is currently open and recruiting 💡
We will be hosting a session at the Ideas Space to discuss the scheme and answer any questions you might have. Students who have been through their own projects will be there to tell you about their experience.
The scheme is very similar to SURE (that just closed) and the Royce internships that you might also have seen advertised, so if you have questions about them you can ask them too.
We’re looking forward to seeing you there 💙

MatSoc is excited to announce the return of the Walk in the Peaks Social! 🥾
We will be catching the 12:14 train from Sheffield station to Hathersage Station, please arrive at around 12:00 as the next train is an hour later.
The walk we’re doing is a relatively relaxing walk with a slight challenge around Hope Valley up to Stanage Edge and back, please bring appropriate footwear (something you wouldn’t mind walking through a field in), as well as some layers as it is always a few degrees colder out in the peaks as in Sheffield. You may also wish to bring some water/snacks, although we will be aiming to stop in a pub on the way back to the station to grab a drink.🍻
If you would like to come please fill in the google form below for health and safety.

This was a really fun one last year, so we hope to see lots of you there again.
Love,
