⬇️ DETAILS ⬇️

Hello everyone,

For our last social of the year we are doing another walk in the peaks ⛰️

Our route:

Hope to Edale via Castleton - 6.7 miles - roughly 5 hours, stopping for lunch in Castleton, not including travel so this will be an all day activity.

This walk does go over Mam Tor which is a beautiful and rewarding but could be considered an intermediate route but the group will be of all abilities and experience levels - so don’t worry if you’re not sure!

We will get the 10:14 train out of Sheffield station so meet out the front of the station at 10:00.

You will need to buy your own train ticket (return from Sheffield to Edale), make sure it's an open return for Saturday 16th May, it should be about £12 without a rail card.

What to bring:

Lunch
Water
Appropriate footwear
Suncream (manifesting good weather)
Raincoat (if the manifesting fails)

See you all soon,
Love MatSoc xoxo
