✅ You can choose to stay home if the heat makes travel/attendance difficult.
📝 If you have an exam booked, please come in just to complete it.
📊 Everyone will be marked PRESENT, whether you attend or not.
⏰ Anyone attending will finish NO LATER THAN MIDDAY to stay safe and cool.

A red heat-health alert is in place across southern England and the Midlands. This means extreme heat could affect everyone, including healthy people, and may also impact transport, food, water and energy. This is only the second time a red alert has been issued, the last being in July 2022.
