We have now filled all our spaces for this September 2025's new starter Reception class. Thank you very much to everyone who shared our post.

There's only one week to go for primary school on-line applications for September 2025! The deadline is Wednesday 15th January. Unusually, we still have fewer first choice applications for Loxley, at this moment in time, than we have places so there's never been a better chance to get a place at our friendly and ambitious school.

We have made such a difference to so many young children's lives and we wouldn't want anyone to miss out on this opportunity. Nothing is guaranteed in terms of getting a place of course but the opportunity is there. Visits are warmly welcomed. We recommend arranging a visit while children are in school, if possible, to get a true feel of what life at Loxley is like.

We would be very grateful if you could share this post. Thank you.

The applications link is below:

You can apply for a school place for your child online. Apply for a school place If you would like a form instead, please email [email protected]. If you've been refused a place at any of the schools on your application and want to appeal, you can do this by going to Appeal your child's...

Pokemon Club has arrived!
This lunchtime about 25 children from Y1 - 6 came to learn how to play the basics of the Pokemon card game. They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and next time we will be moving on to playing in more independent games. Thank you to the Y5 helpers who came and showed the others how to play.

Thank you so much for all the help and support with the cake sale.

The boys did amazing, they raised £130 for diabetes UK today.

There are around 100 pieces of cake left so we’ll be outside school tomorrow to sell the rest.

Thank you so much to everyone for their support and promoting the sale. It made all the difference.

We thought that we'd share some more photos of our wonderful Coronation Celebration Picnic. The children had a great time. A big thank you goes out to Julie for bringing "King Keegan I" (our therapy dog) to visit us. A big thank you also goes to Andy Emery for the photos.

Congratulations to our Year 3 class "The Sycamores" who did the school proud in the Sports Partnership games at the EIS yesterday. The children were given lots of praise from event organisers and staff from other schools about their behaviour and teamwork. We got an overall second place out of 41 teams. Well done!
