Some of the children from Diamonds have had a fabulous time travelling by narrow boats over the past two days! This was very kindly hosted by the Ethel Trust Community Barges, who do lots of different events which are inclusive to all, so please feel free to check them out. You can find more information here: https://etheltrust.co.uk/ We would also really like to thank all our parent helpers, school staff and the Ethel Trust volunteers for making it such a success.

What a brilliant final cross country event on Saturday! ☀️🏆 We finished an incredible cross country season with the relays at Longley Park. It was a tough course but the children were fantastic ☺️ A special shout out to one of our Y3/4 boys teams who finished 3rd and a huge well done to Emily and Bethan in year 6 who completed two legs each and finished 6th - WOW! 🤩 Thank you parents for your support this season and well done to everyone involved 🏃🏾‍♀️

Harvey vs Ben Nevis! 13/04/2026

We thought we would start the term with a very proud moment. Harvey , one of our Y6 children, has decided to challenge himself to taking on Ben Nevis during the May half term. Harvey was born with an extremely rare genetic condition that affects his nervous system. His condition affects his mobility, vision, speech and cognition, but he's always up for a challenge! If you would like to support him with his fundraising, please click the following link:

Some of our KS2 girls participated in a gymnastics competition yesterday and they absolutely blew us away! 🤩👏 With a very quick turnaround, they each learned and performed a full floor routine in front of a panel of judges, with their scores combining for the team result. They put in so much of their own time and effort and it really showed. We are incredibly proud of them all! ⭐️ We’re still waiting to hear the final results - fingers crossed 🤞🏆

A huge well done to these boys who represented school - and Sheffield Wednesday - at the regionals last week. It wasn’t the result we were hoping for but the boys were absolutely brilliant from start to finish 👏 They played with determination, teamwork and real sportsmanship and we couldn’t be prouder of how they carried themselves on and off the pitch. Every single one of them gave it their all 🏆 Well done boys, you did us proud ⭐️
