Week 5 of the school holidays ✅

We've been to Creswell Crags, Hardwick Hall, Cinema and Spinney park. We finished with an ice cream at Joe's 😊🍦

Today is my last day working on Fridays. 🎉

Closed next week for some R and R before everyone returns to school in September.

We've been to Sherwood Pines and Thoresby Park.

We've been to Poolsbrook Country Park and Clumber Park.

Week 2 of the summer holidays ✅
We've been to Bolsover Castle, Wentworth Castle Gardens, Sherwood forest and Cliffe Park. We also had fun tie dyeing T-shirts.

1st week of the summer holidays ✅

We've been to Tiddlywinks playgroup before a picnic at Laughton Parish park, Rufford Country Park, Rother Valley and Clifton Park.

Today Sean and I successfully completed our statutory 12-hour Paediatric First Aid course, ensuring our knowledge and skills are fully up to date.

Last week of term. We've said a 'see you soon' to our term time only children this week. Looking forward to a busy summer.

We've been to Tiddlywinks playgroup, Harthill recreation ground, Rother Valley (although we didn't think much to the new play area 😢), Stead Street park in Eckington and to our last every Friday playgroup at Sunshine corner. I have been going to this playgroup for over 10 years and my own daughters attended too so was a sad day today.

Our theme this week has been 'Jack and the Beanstalk'. The children have loved this book and the story props too. They have been telling the story and especially loved the line "Fee Fi Foe Fum". They have pretended to be Jack visiting the giant's castle and some undertook the role of the giant too.

We planted beans to try and grow our beanstalks. We did them in plastic bags so that once taped into a window the children could observe the roots and shoots.

It's been another hot week so we've tried to stay cool and hydrated. We've been to Tiddlywinks playgroup, gymnastics, Rotherham civic theatre for story time and to Sunshine corner playgroup.

This week we've been to Lodge Lane park, Woodhouse Mill recreation ground, Yorkshire Wildlife Park, gymnastics and Sunshine Corner playgroup.
