Happy Friday everyone
cheers 🥂 to the week end hopefully a little bit dry 🌞

Wednesday was a busy day we enjoyed some time in the community room playing snooker, working on jigsaws, listening to music and chatting over a brew and some sweet treats.

After lunch (inbetween the thunderstorm) we headed out to the dementia cafe at Heeley Parish Church where we spent time chatting and reminiscing, singing together and watching card tricks done by the lovely Ron who attends there.

We were looking forward to having a sing along and a dance with Russ Weaver tomorrow afternoon in the community room☺️

This morning we continued bingo club on the Meers! Joan and Mary came downstairs and joined us.

After an early lunch we enjoyed an afternoon of singing and dancing with the brilliant Russ Weaver!

A very happy birthday was wished to Cyril today

NWB Charity football ⚽️ match final official score from Adam the Referee Blue 8 Reds 4 well done you BLUES 🏆 both sides played really well their all winners in our eyes 🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇
There was few grazers and leg cramps but it was worth it in the end 🦵🤕🤦🏼‍♀️
Thank you to the Neil’s grandsons for organising the event & fundraising and to everyone that turned out to support them what a wonderful afternoon for t such a worthy cause . 😊😊😊😊

A tasty treat on the meers today . As it was so hot the buns came up for our mid morning cuppa with icing and toppings . We then ate them all .
