Here at Peaks Edge we are proud of the diversity of the community we serve, & of all the different languages that are spoken within our setting.
Children enjoy learning words & phrases in different languages, learning about different countries, religions & festivals.
This month we are focusing on TURKISH.
If you speak Turkish & are able to share any stories, music, newspapers, fabrics, clothing, currency or pictures to further enrich our environment, they would be gratefully received. In addition, if you have any information about your language, or your family’s heritage that you’d like to share, please speak to one of the team; we would love to pass this on within the setting.

Thank you in advance.

Let's give our two employee's of the Month Lexie (pre-school) and Megan (baby room) a round of applause 👏

Staff and parents appreciate their dedication to the running of the rooms and their relationships with the children ☺️

In the toddler room we love to make play doh together! We take turns pouring in the flour, salt and water in and then we make it colourful! Today we added sprinkles too! We have so much fun making different shapes with it once it's finished 😁💛

Pre-School have been exploring different materials that they can use, we decided to use foil and paint so we could print some pictures. We used various different colours to paint the foil and then printed it on some paper, pre-school were very excited when they saw what they had created.
