Yesterday we had an extra busy day celebrating the First England debut match of the world cup 2026 VS. Croatia.
To celebrate,we enjoyed tasting scones for snack as an English cuisine and our lovely cook made us a lasagne with Mediteranean vegetables for Croatia !
The children have taken a real interest in moving their bodies and playing with the footballs that are readily available :)

📦📦CREATION DONATION STATION🗑️🗑️
On the 10th July we will be taking part in ' Cardboard box day ' 📦
We will be closing down the toy boxes for the day and replacing them with loose parts and junk modelling for a full day !
This is such a huge part of developing a child's imagination and we can't wait to see what the children come up with !
In support of this day, we have introduced a permanent ' creation donation station ' . This is a space where your trash becomes our treasure !😊
We will sometimes be requesting specific items we are on the hunt for our children to explore and use to create.
Please have a little read of our list when you visit the setting to see if you can help us !
We are at the moment in search of :
Cardboard boxes ( especially massive ones ! )
Large pop bottles
Small water bottles.
Thank you for helping our children grow their imaginations !

Today we had a visit from Leanimals. We got to feel the skin of the snake and the lizard, and the fur of the guinea pigs.
The snake was smooth, the lizard was bumpy and the guinea pig was soft.
We watched the guinea pigs eat some lettuce for their snack and the snake stick out it's tongue to taste the air.
It was really interesting we can't wait to see what animals we home at next time 😊
