It's BBQ weather next week🍖🍗🏖🔥☀
We have created a lovely barbecue \ garden role play ready for the heatwave next week and the toddlers have got stuck in early !!
Please remember to pack light clothing for the warmer weather we are expecting next week and extra clothes as we will be doing lots of water play to cool down !☀💧☀💧

Today the toddlers have made some ice lollies with fresh fruit ! We cut the fruits up ourselves and made a puree! We then had the lollies for snack in the afternoon (they turned out more like Ice cream oops!) 🍓🍌🍦

The Toddlers have been super busy using different skin toned paints to create a lovely diversity display ! ☺️☺️💙💚🌍

We are looking for qualified L3 candidates with an Ofsted approved
certificate (L2 will also be considered). Full-time is preferable but part-time/job shares may be possible.

Pre school and toddlers have enjoyed our sports session today with Dan from Cryo SportsUK. It was so much fun. We had races, played a hide the cone game, and even did some matching skills.

Congratulations to Louise B (Toddlers) 🎉 for demonstrating outstanding practice during the Spring 2025 term. In receipt of a Quality Practice reward for her efforts in this area - WELL DONE 🥳

Toddlers have had a LOVELY Easter morning !🌺🌺
We have read the Easter story, made some bread like the last supper, decorated Easter eggs, and finally had a hot cross bun picnic for snack ! We hope you all have a lovely Easter and enjoy all of your goodies 😄🌻💐🐣🐣

Last week baby room enjoyed their first Rhythm Time session. We enjoyed banging the drums, exploring the noises different instruments make and chasing the bubbles. All with lots of music and movement!

Our new setting, Perimount Day Nursery (Fraser Road, S8), will soon be opening, & we are now taking bookings for appointments to have a look around, & to book a place.

Happy Easter from all at peaks edge! Pre school children have had a busy week creating crafts, today we decorated hard boiled eggs for our rolling competition today. Some of our children made some lovely Easter bonnets at home too.

Today Toddlers have been making bread ! We have all took turns doing some mixing and pouring ! Great sharing everyone !! We can't wait to try the bread when it is done🤗🤗

As Easter is approaching, pre school children have decided to have an Easter bonnet and egg rolling competition! How exciting!
Please make you bonnets at home and bring in on Thursday for the boys and girls can show off their creations! for
A long with this, we are holding an egg rolling competition. If you can, decorate an hard boiled egg, so the children can roll it please. 🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰🐇🐰

Here at Peaks Edge we are proud of the diversity of the community we serve, & of all the different languages that are spoken within our setting.
Children enjoy learning words & phrases in different languages, learning about different countries, religions & festivals.
This month we are focusing on HUNGARIAN.
If you speak Hungarian & are able to share any stories, music, newspapers, fabrics, clothing, currency or pictures to further enrich our environment, they would be gratefully received. In addition, if you have any information about your language, or your family’s heritage that you’d like to share, please speak to one of the team; we would love to pass this on within the setting.
