Congratulations to all those children receiving an award in today's Celebration Assembly!
Can you help?
In year 1 our Autumn history topic is changes over time. We look at how technology has changed over the past 80-100 years. We specifically look at how phones and music players have changed.
Do you have any of the following items, linked to our topic, that you could donate to our history resources?
PHONES (these do not need to be in working order)
- rotary corded phone
- push-button corded phone
- non-corded landline telephones
- mobile phones (from early ones with keys and an aerial to more modern touch screen style)
MUSIC PLAYERS (ideally in working order so that children can hear music on them):
- record player, corded
- cassette player, corded and portable
- compact disc (CD) player, corded and portable
- MP3 player
- smart speaker (cloud based music)
In addition do you have any child-friendly vinyl records, cassettes or CDs you can donate?
If you are able to help please let us know via the year 1 email at [email protected] or speak to a year 1 teacher/TA at pick up/drop off. Donated items can also be brought into school, for the attention of the year 1 team.
Many thanks,
Year 1 team
Please note that the Year 2 Seesaw, Dojo and Numbots account will be disabled/deleted during the summer holidays, usually around early August.
If you wish to download any posts from Seesaw, please do so before the end of July.
