A huge thank you during show week to our beautiful senior girls and boys for prioritising their commitment to CDA and arriving slightly late to prom 🙏🏽

You’re teaching the next generation to honour their commitments, have 100% attendance and you’re showing them how to work as a team and just how vital you individually are to the grand, sparkling masterpiece.

You all looked BEAUTIFUL (not all are pictured… you haven’t sent me photos… sorry!) and the children adored screaming for you and seeing you look ultra glam.

Imagine being awarded a Summer School Scholarship to last year for August 2026…

And now she’s there, with industry pros, having the time of her life, in her element, learning from the best of the best, making friends for life AND she can say.. “see you in a few weeks LTA” 🥹🙏🏽😭

Little did you know last year Lizzie that you’d also then be awarded a scholarship to begin your full time 3 year training at your dream college and the most prestigious theatre school in the UK - Laine Theatre Arts. Dreams DO come true! You’ve most certainly put the work in and we are so unbelievably proud of you, your infectious passion and dedication.

Thank you to , and all the staff at LTA for giving so many young performers this incredible taste of the industry over the summer.

A huge congratulations to Archie who has attended his first ever residential at the Yorkshire Ballet Seminar Summer Intensive!

Wow! What a huge, scary but exciting thing to do Archie! Away from home for a whole week for the first time! He had an absolutely INCREDIBLE time and was taught by wonderful industry pros. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him and hundreds of other young performers 🙏🏽

Next shoutout has to go to the fabulous, witty, theatrical, ridiculously organised, comical and altogether fabulous duo Emma and Katie - our quick change co ordinators!

The show would not have ran smoothly without you!! Thank you for your expertise and guidance… and most importantly your belly laughs and giggles with the rest of the backstage team, students and for making everyone feel at ease.

A HUUUUUUUUGE ‘thank you’ has to go to the wonderful, gorgeous Miss Sophie who stepped in ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW and performed the Can Can PERFECTLY on the Sunday matinee and Sunday evening 🥹😭💪🏻

Miss Sophie! Even though heartbreakingly one of our dolls got injured, you well and truly saved the day 🙏🏽 And not only did the crowd love seeing you, but the students were beside themselves getting to perform alongside you AND we think maybe you really enjoyed it too?! 😂 She’s destined for the Moulin Rouge!! 💋

A huge thank you again for being a true professional, and well done to the whole Can Can troupe for pulling together, being a team, supporting one another and beaming on stage like nothing had changed incredibly last minute!! True industry professionals and beautiful girls inside. You’re all far more experienced and mature than you realise, Mrs Cox and I are SO proud of you.

Bea, Blossom and Jamsine have just finished what was said to be “the best week ever” at Laine Theatre Arts Summer School!!!

The girls had the most incredible week with industry professionals perfecting their technique, performance, learning new styles, stepping out of their comfort zone and putting together a show in a week!

We are so proud of you three. How fabulous to be there and get a taste of what’s it’s like at the most prestigious theatre school in the UK!
