On Saturday 3rd October Open House. is hosting an open day - all classes are just £3!!

For kids yoga we're going follow the life cycle of a Conker! I'll bring along some conkers and my tools so we can make conker necklaces in the cafe space afterwards.

If you've been to class before you'll be used to us spreading between rooms, having a space for play and crafts pre and post yoga. This week as a one off for the open day we will just have use of one space and a slightly shorter class so it'll be just yoga. But I'll bring some bits for the cafe if you'd like to hang out and get creative!

Whether you're a regular, haven't been for a while or have been meaning to try it for ages...everyone is welcome! But at this price (and half gone already) the last few tickets won't hang around for long!

A simple seasonal craft. Yet so many benefits.

🍄 Oh we do love a fungi hunt! I find them absolutely fascinating and I still learn new things every single time. Today the woodland was full of White Saddles and Blushers neither of which I've seen much of before.

🍄‍🟫 I hope the tips shared help you and your family to have a little fun exploring fungi!

🖼 A little art idea that also helps to confirm an ID is to create a spore print - put the cap (domed top) of a mushroom spores down on a peice of paper, cover with a bowl/tuppaware and leave for a number of hours, preferably overnight. Lift and reveal (hopefully) a spore print will be left behind!

🎨 Fungi print - gently paint over the gills from a cap or a fungi cut in half and print on paper.
