In a tuff spot

Wooohoooo we've got a playroom back 🎉🎉 I've been soooo absent on insta recently, on all of my accounts. Decorating has taken over my life and I'm starting a new job tomorrow. Life has been a little bonkers. But that's ok. I'm taking the little win that I might be able to get some of the toys out of my living room this week 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

🎃 Pumpkin crafts 🎃

H is off nursery today so to the rescue!! The boys have made their own carved pumpkin faces. Practising some scissor skills & making independent decisions on which shapes they wanted and where to stick them.

👻 Halloween bunting 👻

Ooh it's been a while since I've posted here!! Thanks to .chappers for the inspiration to make some spooky bunting. We used our stamps - still going strong after a few years of use!!!

We made some handprint ghosts earlier in the week too for our Halloween window.

We've been out pumpkin picking & collecting Autumn treasures today - the perfect backdrop for our newest fox 🦊

🏰 Castle play 🏰

First set up in, what seems like, forever. H has been asking for set ups for a while, it's the first one I've managed. Super simple, but sure he'll love it. I've popped a brilliant peep inside the castle book on the tray as both boys love reading at the moment. Also some picture cards - H is into matching at the moment so will get him to match the cards and toys. We're also looking at letters & sounds together so will use these for some initial sound, segmenting & blending with him.

☀️ Halfway through the summer hols. How are you getting on??

📍 My top tip would be planning ahead - I have something planned every day. Even if it's just a trip to the shops/park/duck pond.
