SFSS Cross Country Race 2 at the Bole Hills in Crookes tomorrow has been cancelled. Please spread the word to avoid runners having a wasted trip in the morning. Thank you.

It is with real regret that we have to let you know that tomorrow’s cross-country meeting at Bole Hills Park, Crookes, has been cancelled.
Unfortunately, due to illness amongst the organising team, we have had to make this decision at very short notice. We felt it was important to make the call this evening, rather than leave it until the morning, so that no families or staff make the journey to the park only to find the event isn’t going ahead.
We know how much the children look forward to these races, and how much effort they, their families and their schools put in to take part. We are truly sorry that they will miss out on running tomorrow. Please be assured this was not a decision we took lightly, but on this occasion nothing could be done.
Please help us spread the word. As this is such short notice, we would be very grateful if you could pass this message on as widely as possible – to colleagues in other schools, through your school’s parent communications, class WhatsApp groups, social media pages and any other channels you use. The more people who see this tonight, the fewer will have a wasted trip in the morning.
Next race: We very much look forward to seeing all the children back for the next race on Saturday 10th October 2026 at Parkwood Springs. Further details will follow as usual.
