Family Fun day!

Join Rotherham Libraries at Rother Valley Country Park on 25 August, from 10am to 4pm, for a free, fun-filled day of adventure, storytelling and creative activities.

Create your own character and develop a backstory worthy of a mighty warrior, cunning rogue, fearless ranger or mischievous goblin. Take on exciting challenges and discover new worlds beyond books through games, crafts and interactive storytelling.

Whether you're battling imaginary goblins, designing a fantasy map, crafting magical artefacts, taking part in tabletop-inspired adventures or writing the opening chapter of an unforgettable tale, there's something for adventurers of all ages.

Reading is about more than just books. It's about unlocking incredible worlds, meeting unforgettable characters and embarking on adventures limited only by your imagination. Discover how the stories you read can inspire legendary quests of your own.

Our small world and construction area has had a little move around and extended.

This area is one of our most popular areas, so we wanted to give the children more space to build and let their imaginations run free.

We cannot wait to finish this area and fill it with resources 😀

A fantastic FREE family event is coming to Clifton Park on Saturday 22nd August from 11am to 2pm.

Children and families can enjoy stories, games and activities inspired by What the Ladybird Heard.

No need to book, simply turn up and enjoy the fun! 🌳📚🐞
