Well done to Jessie Tebbutt on this podcast for Parkinson's UK in Scotland about oral health
Oral health is an often overlooked area of Parkinson’s research. Even though it's important, little is known about how oral health issues affect quality of life for people with Parkinson's.
This month, the North of Scotland Parkinson’s Research Podcast is putting oral health under the microscope.
Jessie Tebbutt from the University of Sheffield has been exploring the existing evidence on the oral health experiences of those with Parkinson’s. Listen to Jessie explain how she's identifying key gaps in current knowledge with a view to helping shape future research priorities.
You can hear the podcast on most platforms from this Thursday, 21 August 2025.
