Continuing with the double kick work. I was struggling to make my feet consistent with 16ths so to help I decided to add different rhythms with my hands to make the excersise more exciting (and difficult) 🤩

The concept comes from Thomas lang, where you’re working on something that’s weak, and adding different variations to stronger body parts to help take your mind off what you’re trying to work on, therefore making it feel more natural and also expanding your muscle memory. In this example I’m working from quarter notes in my right hand, to groups of 3 and then 5 in a pyramid, all with a back beat in my left hand and maintaining those 16ths on the feet 🤯🥵

What would you add to this excersise?? Or can you come up with your own??
