I am sad to announce the passing of our lovely school friend and personal friend to many
Nadya Marciano 11/11/64
Died peacefully at St Luke’s hospice on Sunday 7th July aged 59.
A devoted mother and nan
And much loved daughter, sister, auntie and friend to many. It was Nadya's wish not to have this announced at the time.

Some more sad news. Colin Hill who left Abbeydale in about 1981 has sadly passed. His funeral is at Hutcliffe Wood on Tuesday 12th March ( next week). The follow up is at the Broadfield on Abbeydale Rd.
RIP and thoughts are with his family and friends. MN

Dear friends, very sadly the one and only 'Wadey' has passed away on 1/3/24.
I know many of us will have so many memories of this wonderful, kind, full of life, hilarious man especially from our school days at Abbeydale Grange.
Simon was one of life's great character's.
Sending deepest sympathy and love to his family. Louise Wade and his girls.
May he rest in eternal peace after such a long and bravely fought battle. # # #

Is there anyone following this group who is turning or just turned 71? I guess that would be graduation year 1968 -1970. I've been living overseas for almost 40 years and am planning a trip home in November. I found 3 of my old class mates and it would be great to find anymore who remember me and want to reminisce over a pint or two. My name is Michael Handley (handbag) I found another couple of classmates, who I hope are up for it. Michael Franklin (Frank) and Martin Hoyland. Anyone else from that year want to meet up sometime near the end of November?
