π Safer Sleep Matters π
At Intake Preschool, the safety and wellbeing of children is always our priority.

We would like to say a big Good Luck to Jade who did return after maternity leave but is now deciding to spend a little more time with her family.
Jade has been with us for 2 years and has been a big part of our Butterfly room. I'm sure there will be a lot of children who are going to miss her.
We wish her all the best for the future π

ππ¦ Learning About Change and Growth at Intake Preschool! π¦π
Our children will be busy exploring the fascinating life cycle of a caterpillar and watching first-hand how these amazing creatures grow and transform into beautiful butterflies.
As we approach the end of the preschool year, this learning will provide a wonderful opportunity to talk about the changes and transitions that many of our children will soon experience. Just like the caterpillar, our children are growing, developing new skills, and preparing for their next exciting adventure.
π Some of our Caterpillar Room children are getting ready to spread their wings and move up into the Butterfly Room.
π¦ Our Butterfly Room children are preparing for their biggest transformation yet as they get ready to start school in September.
Through observing the caterpillars, discussing change, and celebrating growth, we are helping children understand that transitions are a natural and exciting part of life.
We are so proud of all our little learners and can't wait to see them continue to flourish as they take their next steps on their learning journey. π

This term the children have been having a wonderful time taking part in a range of exciting activities and celebrations. β
We loved celebrating Holi and Eid where we learnt about different cultures and traditions through colourful activities, creative play, music and stories. They even had an amazing opportunity to enjoy a food tasting session for Eid trying new and exciting foods. Celebrations help the children develop understanding, respect, and curiosity about the world around them. π©΅
For Autism Awareness Week, the children explored a variety of sensory play activities designed to encourage communication, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. π
For Earth Day, we learnt how to care for our planet, including doing our very own litter picking. They enjoyed planting seeds, collecting leaves and even learning about planets. We spoke about the different types of rubbish and how we can recycle at home. ππ
The children loved welcoming some new furry and scaly friends into pre-school. The children were fascinated to meet and learn about the animals, showing great care, confidence, and excitement throughout the experience. π§‘πΎ
We also had lots of fun supporting Red Nose Day, with the children enjoying making tomato soup, themed activities, laughter, and dressing up while learning about kindness and helping others.β€οΈπ
I wonder what weβll learn about nextβ¦ π€
