🌿 Donations Needed for Our Preschool 🌿

We are looking for a variety of items to help enhance our learning environment and outdoor provision. If you have any of the following items that you no longer need, we would be very grateful for your donation:

🔹 Clean, empty tins (e.g. baked bean tins, soup tins, larger catering tins)
🔹 Wooden pallets (in good, safe condition)
🔹 Large sticks and branches
🔹 Home decorative items (e.g. clocks, canvases, ornaments, picture frames)
🔹 Gardening equipment (e.g. trowels, watering cans, plant pots, hand tools)
🔹 Wooden cable reels

These items will be used to support children's learning, creativity, role play, gardening activities, and outdoor exploration.

If you are able to donate any of the above, please speak to a member of staff or bring them along to the preschool.

Your love, dedication, patience, and endless support help your children grow, learn, and flourish every day. We are privileged to share their early years journey and witness the confidence, curiosity, and kindness that you nurture at home. ⭐

Intake Pre School 🦋🐛

This term the children have been having a wonderful time taking part in a range of exciting activities and celebrations. ⭐

We loved celebrating Holi and Eid where we learnt about different cultures and traditions through colourful activities, creative play, music and stories. They even had an amazing opportunity to enjoy a food tasting session for Eid trying new and exciting foods. Celebrations help the children develop understanding, respect, and curiosity about the world around them. 🩵

For Autism Awareness Week, the children explored a variety of sensory play activities designed to encourage communication, creativity, and emotional wellbeing. 💙

For Earth Day, we learnt how to care for our planet, including doing our very own litter picking. They enjoyed planting seeds, collecting leaves and even learning about planets. We spoke about the different types of rubbish and how we can recycle at home. 💚🌍

The children loved welcoming some new furry and scaly friends into pre-school. The children were fascinated to meet and learn about the animals, showing great care, confidence, and excitement throughout the experience. 🧡🐾

We also had lots of fun supporting Red Nose Day, with the children enjoying making tomato soup, themed activities, laughter, and dressing up while learning about kindness and helping others.❤️🍅

I wonder what we’ll learn about next… 🤔

We’re urgently looking for a reliable plumber who can come out ASAP today to our nursery in Intake (S12).

We need help identifying whether we have an internal or external water leak and would really appreciate a quick assessment.

If you’re a plumber available today, or can recommend someone trustworthy who may be able to attend at short notice, please comment below or message us directly.

Just a reminder that preschool reopens to children on Tuesday 14th April 🐰– we can’t wait to see you all again and to welcome some new children and families joining us!

Don’t forget to share your holiday adventures with us on your child’s Tapestry online learning journal, and we’re very excited to see all of their fantastic Easter bonnets too! 🎩✨

From April we will begin working through our September and January availability for nursery spaces. If you are interested in a place for your child and haven’t already done so, please complete our enquiry form below to register your interest.

Our spaces fill very quickly—especially for our Under 2s, where we have already received a high number of enquiries. We strongly recommend submitting your enquiry as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
