Happy Halloween

Our Preschool and Toddler children this morning have been taking part in some observational painting. We talked about how a pumpkin looked describing the colours and textures. The children then did their paintings of what they thought the pumpkins looked like. This activity helped the children’s hand eye co-ordination and creativity skills.

Today the children have enjoyed a visit from the local dentist on Abbeydale Road. The children were able to brush a set of teeth and discussed what helps our teeth stay healthy and strong.

Today we have celebrated national teddy bear day. All the children brought in their favourite teddy so we could have a teddy bears picnic and share our nursery experiences with them.

⭐️⭐️🧑‍🎓This afternoon we have said goodbye and good luck to all our school leavers during our Graduation ceremony.
We have watched them all flourish in their learning journey throughout their time at Seeds to Stars Nursery and wish them well in their next step at big school 🧑‍🎓⭐️⭐️

This morning we have been enjoying the lovely sunshine ☀️
The children have been busy creating their own binoculars to go on a bug hunt!
We have also had lots of fun splashing around playing in the water! ☀️ 💦

Yesterday afternoon we were very excited at Seeds to Stars on the special arrival of 5 little caterpillars 🐛 🐛🐛🐛🐛
The children were delighted to watch them wriggle around inside the pot! And asked lots of questions.
The half term we have been looking at the story book The Very hungry caterpillar. We are all eager to watch them grow into beautiful butterflies.
