Our toddlers have loved exploring The Colour Monster this term! 💛💙❤️💚🖤

Through this colourful and engaging story, we’ve been learning all about different feelings and emotions, helping the children to recognise, name and talk about how they feel. 😊

We’ve had lots of fun exploring colours, emotions, facial expressions and creating our own colourful activities inspired by the story. 🎨✨

It has been wonderful to see the children developing their understanding of emotions while enjoying such a lovely story together. 💕📖

Our babies have been enjoying exploring Dear Zoo by Rod Campbell as our Book of the Term! 💛

From lifting the flaps and discovering the animals to making animal sounds, the story has provided lots of opportunities for curiosity, communication and fun. 🐯🐸🦒

We’ve loved watching the babies join in with the repeated phrases, explore the colourful pictures and begin to anticipate which animal might be hiding next! 👀📖

Our nursery children had a wonderful time exploring rainbow in the garden! 🎨🌈

We talked about the different colours we could see around us, searched for colourful objects, and shared our ideas and observations with our friends. The children enjoyed using their language to describe what they found, developing their communication and vocabulary through “Rainbow Talk.” 🗣️💬

They spoke about what they could see, hear and smell!

It was lovely to see the children working together, listening to each other and expressing their thoughts while enjoying the fresh air and sunshine. 🌸☀️

🌳🎨 Creative Tree Painting in Nursery! 🎨🌳

Our little artists have been getting creative today as they painted beautiful trees using toilet roll tubes! 🖌️✨

The children dipped the tubes into paint and stamped them onto paper to create wonderful tree branches and colourful leaves. 🍃🌈

This fun activity encouraged the children to explore colour, shape and texture, while developing their fine motor skills, coordination and creativity. 👐💕

🎨🖌️ Sensory Play Fun in Nursery! 🌈

Our nursery children had lots of fun exploring sensory play! 👐✨ They enjoyed getting hands-on, exploring different textures and experiences while developing their senses through play.

We also had a fantastic time with ball rolling in paint! 🎨⚽ The children rolled, pushed and moved the colourful balls across the paper, creating wonderful patterns and colourful masterpieces. 🌟

It was a brilliant opportunity to develop fine and gross motor skills, hand-eye coordination, creativity and confidence, all while having lots of messy fun! 💕

There were plenty of smiles, laughter and very colourful little hands! 😄🎨
