What an INCREDIBLE Movefest 2026! 💃🕺✨

We’re still buzzing from yesterday with the theme “We’re all in this together” and WOW - what a day it was!

A huge THANK YOU to Sheffield Theatres and the amazing Crucible staff - sound, lighting, front of house. You made the stage shine and every dancer feel like a star ⭐

To 900 amazing young people from across our partnership schools: you performed 43 incredible dances with creativity, energy, passion, and teamwork. The bravery and courage it takes to get up on that stage was inspiring, and the confidence we saw grow in every single one of you was everything this is about. We are so proud of you all ⭐️ and to the teachers who took part in our Flashmob and TikTok Challenge 🙌🏼 thank you for being amazing!!

Huge thanks to Megan, Katie, and Pinder Dance Productions for your commitment to dance and for providing such high-quality dance experiences within our schools. You’ve opened doors for so many young people.

It was an honour to welcome the Sheffield Lord Mayor Safiya Saeed, who spoke passionately about dance as the language that connects us all.

The goal was positive experiences for all and making connections through movement - and you all delivered. Memories made to last a lifetime ❤️

Final shoutout to Mr Craig Malkin for taking the mic, the whole Links SSP team, and our brilliant volunteer team for making it all run seamlessly behind the scenes.

A huge well done to our Dodgeball teams who finished 2nd and 3rd at Stocksbridge on Tuesday! It was a great evening, including a VERY competitive Oughtibridge v Oughtibridge derby match!
