High Storrs School has recently come to the end of its Building Schools for the Future (BSF) project which has been a long and worthwhile process. The main school building which is Grade 2 listed has been refurbished back to its former glory, and there have been 2 extentions: North Build - Creative Arts, Dining, Learning Support and a new Learning Resource Centre; South Build - full sports facilities, including Sports Hall and Activity Studio.

High Storrs had lots to celebrate on A Level Results Day, with another year of outstanding results.
Over 34% of grades achieved were A*-A, and an amazing 65% of all results were A*-B.
And there were successes for students across the academic spectrum: as a comprehensive Sixth Form we are proud of all our students’ outcomes.

As GCSE Results Day approaches, a reminder that Sixth Form enrolment (for students already holding an offer with us) is on Thursday 20th August. We wrote home to Y11s about this in July.

Dear Families,
This is a reminder that GCSE Results Day will take place on Thursday 20th August 2026.
Year 11 students are invited to come into school from 8:30am onwards to collect their GCSE results.
Members of staff will be available throughout the morning to provide support, advice and guidance to any students who may need it when receiving their results.
We hope that all students and families are enjoying a relaxing and restful summer break, and we look forward to welcoming you back to school on Results Day.
To our Year 11 students receiving their results, we wish you the very best of luck. You have worked incredibly hard throughout your time at High Storrs, and we are proud of all that you have achieved!
