Just been to some amazing training at Sheffield music hub about getting Kodály based music (the approach I use) into schools.

Hello everyone
It has got to that time of term where I put the booking sheets out (on the windowsill near the coffees) and a load of pencils for you to sign up for next term (not very high tech!).

I have also updated the website with the dates for Summer Term and uploaded the booking form with all the payments details (more high tech!). I will have hard copies of this letter to give out in class, but it is here for reference if it gets: lost, chewed, used as an emergency baby-wipe substitute!

This week we are going to be singing on my toe, playing the piano to 'go go penguin' and going bananas with out minions (please feel free to bring any minion toys you have at home - labelled so nothing gets lost!).

On my toe

A reminder to all families today:
There is a funeral in the church.
We will be upstairs all morning.
9-10:10 playroom and class for 9:35 group.
10:10-11:30 playroom and class for 10:15 group.
10:50-11:20 baby class in small room upstairs (go through playroom there will be a sign on the door! - you can stay and chat in there after if you wish)

11:00-12:00 dotty rockers can come and play then their class starts at 11:30.

So I have tried to give everyone a little playtime and a 30 min class.

Please come in quietly and leave your buggies in normal place.

I am sorry but I have made the tough decision to close tomorrow - I am really unwell and have no voice and have been unable to find a Dep.

I will reimburse everyone (or credit for next term - whichever you prefer).

Round and round

With weather getting colder I thought I would share my ‘snow policy’: regardless of weather the morning rocking horse groups will be OPEN (as lots of families live really close and feedback from last year was getting out the house with little ones was really important!).
The afternoon dotty rockers and after school Dot2Dot classes will close if the local schools and nurseries decide to close (as I don’t want to drag people out if they are having a ‘snow day’). I will contact by text/email to let you know my decision and fees will be credited or reimbursed.

Hello All
Thank you to my lovely Monday groups for singing so loudly to cover my lack of voice. I had a sofa day with my little girl today and we are both finally on the mend!
