As we welcome in 2026 we remember 2025 and all it has brrought both good and bad. As a result I am raising funds for Cancer Research by walking 62 Miles in January. I have friends and family affected by this horror and we should all do what we can to rid the world of it.

Lynda is a HandiQuilter Ambassador and a UK Educator giving classes in Longarm Quilting, Prostitcher, Prostitcher Designer and FMQ. I am situated a stones throw from the M1 and just over 10 minutes away from Meadowhall. I now dedicate my time to teaching and creating quilts for competition, creating lessons, creating designs for sale and teaching via different methods including Zoom. I have to announce that I have now closed my business.
Will I still be quilting? You bet I will.
Will I still be helping and continuing with my roles as Ambassador and Educator? You bet I will.
I am just getting older and will be officially at retirement age in the next few weeks so now is the right time to end that side of my life. particularly as it is all now sited at home.
I am currently working on a small piece of vintage and will be showing you that one soon. So dont go away, stay tuned as I intend to have lots of fun :)

As I haven’t been quilting for others since lockdown I thought I would just take a look at my stitch count on the machines.
A total of 71,188,708 is not bad going considering I have done so little just lately. And the infinity has been mainly my own quilts

A little bit of 1800 ceiling tile design recreated in Radiance fabric. Glide thread and all free motion quilting on my Infinity. Now to bind it.

This is a teaching sample fresh off the frame, I finished yesterday. Its radiance fabric with three colours of glide thread in the background for micro quilting to give the colour changes. Quilted on my Infinity from . The pattern is based on 1800 ceiling tile designs and is about 24" sq. This is one sample for a class later this year on whole cloth design.
Time to block, trim and bind it now 😊
