Pegasus Classical Languages Sheffield

I studied Classics at university, and completed my PGCE in Classics at The University of Cambridge in 2009. I have taught in top schools in Cambridge and Somerset, and have worked as Head of Classics in Sheffield for almost ten years.

I have taken this year away from the classroom to spend more time with my young family. I have been exploring the primary sector and the possibility of offering classical languages in local primary schools 🤞

At this time of year, I am sure there will be students in need of a confidence boost or a bit of extra support and I wanted to offer tuition to those who need it.

When speaking to my children about offering Classics more widely, they thought it was a great idea. They decided on their favourite mythological creature, and decided that I should have a logo based around Pegasus. My "graphic design team" got to work and this "logo" was born. Here I am, riding Pegasus* and sharing the wonders of the classical world more widely ✨
