We were honoured to be invited to support the revamp of a truly special outdoor learning space — Amy’s Garden 💚

Created in memory of a much-loved young girl, this space has been thoughtfully developed alongside Play to Measure to be inclusive, inspiring, and full of life. It’s now a safe haven for mindfulness, wellbeing, creativity, and outdoor learning.

We absolutely loved working with the staff, sharing ideas and helping to spark confidence in taking learning beyond the classroom.

What a fantastic May half term we’ve had at Foresteers! ☀️🌿

Despite the hot weather, our amazing group made the most of every moment – getting hands-on with tools, creating some brilliant nature crafts, and exploring the outdoors together.

It’s been lovely to see new friendships forming, confidence growing, and so many smiles along the way 😊

🌿 Family Fun in the Woods 🌿

What a fantastic session we had exploring the woods together! This time, it was all about the pond 🐸💧

Families got hands-on with pond dipping, discovering tadpoles, water lice, and all sorts of fascinating underwater life. We even used underwater cameras to get a closer look at what’s going on beneath the surface – always a big hit with the children (and adults too!).

Thank you to everyone who joined us – it was such a lovely, curious, and nature-filled session 🌱

Tiny but full of personality 🐦

These are nuthatch fledglings, just starting to explore the world beyond their nest. Unlike most birds, nuthatches can climb headfirst down tree trunks — and these little ones are already practicing their upside-down skills!

They might look a bit scruffy right now, but that’s part of the charm.

If you listen closely, you can hear their soft calls as they keep in touch — a reminder that even the smallest birds have big stories to tell
