In preparation for the England game tonight🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿
We decided to make some celebration shakers for when England score and we can shout GOAL!⚽️🥅 Throughout the activitiy we spoke about different football teams and spent time looking at the different countries in our earth book! 🌏

Today preschool have spent some time in the garden and enjoying the sunny weather 🌞

A range of activities were happening such as hide and seek, balancing beams and bug hunts.

The bug hunt encouraged the children to ask questions about their home and what the bugs would eat.

Lucy led the challenge to balance on the balancing beams which helps the children use their body coordination.

Today in baby room we are celebrating world sea turtle day. The babies helped post the pipe cleaners in the turtle. We talked about the turtle and where they live. We also did some wonderful counting and turn taking and showed really good physical skills as we posted them.

In the 2's room we decided to use the magnetic shapes as a activity to use a range of different language. The children;
☆Identified shapes
☆Asking simple questions
☆Colour matching
☆Counting in order
☆ Using mathematical language
We are excited to continue this new interest in shapes and colours🔴🟫🔶️

One of the topics we have been working on is 'Understanding the world and cultures'

Today in the tuff tray we have been having conversations about flags:🇬🇧 🇦🇪 🇧🇪 🇨🇳
*Name of the country
*Language this country speaks
*Types of food they make
* If we have any family members that live there
*Whose been on holidays

This has given the child opportunities to speak about their own experiences, but for others to learn too.
Extending conversations and asking questions to their peers.🙍‍♂️🙍‍♀️
