Due to Covid restrictions we have been unable to organise anything for us to be involved in within school, however we have just started up talks again with each other and with school and are starting to bat around some ideas we can arrange remotely.
This hopefully will be first of many we are able to do.
As always thanks for all your support we hope the kids will enjoy the upcoming things we have planned 🌻

Saw this and thought it was a great idea. Get in touch with parents of children for your child’s year/school/friends outside of school in clubs etc and share your addresses ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hi everyone. As a group it’s really important to us that parents/guardians are kept up to date with all fundraising activity and information PODS related. It has come to our attention that this page isn’t followed by many, so if you see this post could we ask you all to share, either on your personal pages or with people you know who may benefit by being kept up to date with information from us. We can then utilise this page much more 👍👍 Thanks so much from us all 😁😁

As it’s the end of term we just wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their continued support this past year. Whether it’s buying a ticket for a disco, sending your child to school in rainbow colours for £1 or buying a raffle ticket every penny is ploughed straight back into school. Our main target is to raise enough money for a new ICT suite, which is desperately needed. Along the way we plan to treat the kids to fun days within school... look out for “PODS Amaze Days” starting 2020!
So a shout out goes out to this special group of parents, who without, the PODS wouldn’t exist and these school events would not happen. We literally spend hours and hours of our own time planning, ordering, making, cooking, counting, shopping, cleaning and anything else that might be required.
These events don’t just happen they take months and months of planning for the parents who volunteer their own time to the PODS, along side running our own family and working lives. A lot of us even use our holiday days to make sure we are able to cover events at school.
So as it’s the season of good will a HUGE thank you goes out to all that get involved, we not only have parents of Deepcar students but sisters, brothers & grandparents who also volunteer their own time to ensure we have the number of helpers to children we need to be able to run each event.

So from all the PODS Merry Christmas and thank you for your continued support, it really does mean the world xx
(p.s) We are still in desperate need of new members so if you are interested please get in touch!
