Our fabulous sport leaders visited concord leisure centre yesterday to support with the Archers primary indoor athletics event.

They were amazing and supported the students brilliantly.

Next week they are going to the EIS to begin their level 2 coaching award!

Well done team!

It’s finally here and it’s beautiful 😍😍

Thank you to everyone involved in getting this over the line.

Exciting times coming 🙌🏻🙌🏻

⚽ A big moment for Fir Vale!

Our 3G football pitch has had a full refresh and is now complete — a great investment in our academy and the wider community that will benefit our young people for years to come.

Last night, our extra-curricular football club were the very first students to step onto the new turf (braving the low temperatures), and the excitement was unreal. The pitch gives our students a top-class space to train, compete and build confidence… and it strengthens our offer for local clubs and partners too.

Huge thanks to everyone involved in making this possible. Big things ahead.

Over the course of year our sports leaders will gain qualifications in Sports Leadership, First Aid and Safeguarding.

They also had lessons in Ice Skating and Curling this afternoon.

Exciting times ahead for our Sports Leaders.

🏀⚽️🥇🏆🏏🥊

At our annual sports presentation we celebrated all our students' sporting achievements over the last academic year.

This year, we were joined by a very special guest. Harrogate Town Football Club Captain, and former Fir Vale student Warren Burrell. Warren shared his journey into professional sport with us and handed out medals to our amazing sports men and women.

We can't wait to get stuck into 2025/2026 to see what other sporting successes our students can achieve.
