I am having my 5th session today of radiotherapy. Side effects are already starting to happen. I am told it will get worse. I have 14 more sessions. I will keep you all informed. David

Not sure this message was posted yesterday. I am having to attend radiotherapy sessions at the Western Park Hospital M-F for next eight weeks. I need to arrive by 3.10pm each day and finish at 4.30pm. Anyone going that way or around at end of day to assist with transpoort would be great. David

Just had my first strawberries from my garden. I have a few extra pumpkin plants I grew from seedlings. Drop by and pick-up and will ask for you to help plant a few in my garden. I have a very sore right shoulder and need someone to set them out in one of my terraces. David

I conducted a one hour PLUGGING INTO THE SUN workshop at the ASE Science Conference in Birmingham on 11/01/2019. Teachers from UK, Greenland, Germany, Denmark, Finland, and Norway attended. The teachers built a solar car. An investigative and problem solving approach is used to achieve outcomes in Science, ICT, Sustainable Development and D&T. The STEM solar resource focused on gaining knowledge through real life application of scientific and mathematical concepts via direct experience with renewable technologies. Too develop skills in Science, Technology and Mathematics. Encouraging careers in engineering and its relationship to issues of climate change.

Solar-Active has created 3 new solar classroom resources: ohms law solar clock interactive, mini-pump, solar water heating demo. Free taster session in Sheffield-June. contact david@solar-active for details.
