About us

IMechE Argyll Ruane is a leading global provider of accredited Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) and ICorr training, certification and Level 3 Consultancy services.

Accredited by major organisations and regulatory bodies, we provide over 350 training courses per year in all major NDT and coatings and corrosion prevention methods from appreciation and Level 1 to Level 3 in internationally recognised central and employer based certification schemes such as:

• BS EN ISO 9712
• EN4179
• NAS 410
• SNT-TC-1A
• We are also the approved training provider for the Institute of Corrosion (ICorr).

NDT training courses available include Ultrasonic Testing, Phased Array, TOFD, Magnetic Particle Testing, Penetrant Testing, Visual Testing, Eddy Current Testing, Radiographic Testing & Interpretation.

ICorr training courses available include Painting Inspector, Pipeline Coatings Inspector, Fireproofing Inspector, Insulation Inspector, Cathodic Protection Technician and Hot Dip Galvanizing Inspector.

Our training is relevant to those working in a multitude of industries such as oil and gas, nuclear, renewable energy, defense, aerospace, automotive, plant integrity and marine.

IMechE Engineering Training Solutions are proud to have one of the longest established Level 3 Services team in the NDT industry, accredited by Rolls Royce PLC, BAE Systems, Airbus, Augusta Westland and Martin-Baker Aircraft Co. Ltd. Recognised by the UK NANDT Board, the team are qualified to ASNT, PCN and NAS410/EN4179 requirements.
