We’re delighted to be at Chesterfield Golf Club today for the 6th Annual SMH Group Charity Golf Day, where Paces is proud to be one of the charities supported by this fantastic event.

We’re all set up and ready to showcase more about the work we do, with our Golf Simulator also up and running!

And there’s a pretty special prize up for grabs…

Meaning we will officially be hosting the largest ever 10K we've ever had here at Paces, but we think we can get even more of you lovely lot signed up, so lets try and hit 100 runners!!

We’re really excited to be Sheffield Hallam Physiotherapy Society Sheffield Hallam University Physiotherapy Society’s charity partner once again for the year ahead! 🩷

We’ve had a brilliant relationship with the society previously, and after meeting with Scarlett, their new President and Charity Officer, we’re looking forward to building on that even further.

From taking on the Sheffield 10K, to fundraising, volunteering and getting involved with Paces throughout the year, there are lots of exciting opportunities ahead.

As a charity supporting children and adults with cerebral palsy and other motor disorders through Conductive Education, we’re particularly excited to work alongside the next generation of physiotherapy professionals and give students at Sheffield Hallam University the chance to learn more about the work we do.

A huge welcome to the , Scarlett and the Physiotherapy Society! We can’t wait to see what we can achieve together. 👋🏻

⛳ INTRODUCING THE PACES RYDER CUP! 🏆

Following another incredible Paces Golf Day at Hillsborough in June, we’re switching things up…

On Friday 11 September 2026, we’re heading to Tankersley Park Golf Club for the very first Paces Ryder Cup!

A brand-new format for Paces, bringing the competitive spirit of the Ryder Cup to the course as teams battle it out to become our first-ever Paces Ryder Cup champions!

Expect:

🏌️ Ryder Cup-style team competition
⛳ Points up for grabs throughout the day
🎯 Nearest the pin & fun on-course challenges
🍳 Breakfast on arrival
🍽️ Two-course meal after the golf
🏆 Presentations & the all-important winning team reveal!

£250 per fourball

We also have a number of sponsorship opportunities available for businesses looking to support Paces and get involved with the event.

As this is our inaugural Paces Ryder Cup, spaces are limited and we’re expecting teams to go quickly!

TWO-TIME BRITISH & COMMONWEALTH CHAMPION!

A huge congratulations to our amazing Paces supporter, Callum Simpson, on claiming the British and Commonwealth titles once again last Saturday.

Callum kindly visited Paces School last year, spending time with our pupils and sharing his journey with our community.

Now, he’s brought the titles back to his hometown of Barnsley, giving our pupils another reason to feel incredibly proud of their local champion.

☀️🤩 Paces Summer School 🤩☀️

We have had a fantastic Summer School this year, filled with fun, friendship, and plenty of opportunities to continue developing our physical skills through our Conductive Education programmes. ✨

Alongside our sessions, we’ve enjoyed some brilliant extra activities, including a fantastic music session with Rosie and a magical visit from Tony the Magician, who created some amazing balloon designs for us to enjoy. We’ve also loved making the most of our new playground, spending time outdoors, baking delicious cookie bites, and getting creative (and a little messy!) during our arts and crafts sessions. 🎨🪄

Above all, the highlight has been spending quality time with our friends, making memories, sharing experiences, and enjoying everything that Summer School has had to offer.

A big thank you to our friends at YesTax, the National Lottery and the Co-Op for funding this most vital of programmes! 💖
