Early STEPs Nursery have a vacancy for a deputy manager. We are a local nursery and offer childcare for children aged 6 months to school age.

All our staff have been very busy updating their training, below I have attached what all our staff have been training on.
Training is very important part of our job as it has a huge impact on our practise and to keep all the children and their families as safe and happy as we possibly can.

Today is a special but slightly emotional day in nursery. It's Graduation Day!!! 👩‍🎓👨‍🎓❤🎓

We hope the children and their families have a lovely afternoon at our Graduation ceremony before the children leave us to go to BIG School.
We will miss them lots but know they are going to be amazing as they start the first part of their school journey 😊

The children in Tremendous Two's had rice in our sensory tray with different sized pots that were different shapes too. The children used spoons and their hands to scoop the rice with.
We talked about the pots been big and small and when the children were putting the rice into them we chatted about them been full and empty.
We talked about the colour of the rice and the shapes of the pots too. Some of the children worked really well together to fill their pots up with rice!!!
The children did really good pouring of the rice from one pot to another and using the spoons to scoop the rice with!

On Wednesday the children in our Mighty Explorers Room had a great time playing outside.
The children enjoyed exploring the different activities we have outside, A did amazing catching with Rebecca and was so proud of himself when he was able to do it.
The lock board was a hit with E and G they liked trying the handles and the pressing the buttons on the switch.
O enjoyed building with the different shapes and managed to build a big tower as well as E and E going on the bus, E loved using the steering wheel!!!!
L enjoyed going really fast down the slides, we would shout ready, steady, go she would get all excited and push herself down the slide!!!!

This week in Pre-school we have been learning about different bugs/ insects. The children have done some observational drawing from different photos.
While the children drew their pictures we talked about what the bugs were called and thought about places they might live. We also talked about what colours were on them and how many legs they have.
We think they look amazing!

The children in preschool have been looking at different bugs over the past few weeks, this came from a child finding a beetle while playing. The children decided to go on a bug hunt.

The children decorated different bugs to go on our display, they choose which bug they wanted and decorated them how they wanted them with shiny paper bits and glitter.
