Lara Gothique
Lara is a well-established, fully qualified, and highly respected Dance & Fitness Teacher, Choreographer, Personal Trainer, Performer, & Show Producer, with an excellent reputation in her field of business since 1991. Lara runs all her dance & fitness classes with absolute inclusivity in mind. These classes have also proved to be a fantastic social experience for those attending.

Lara has choreographed and performed since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. Her focus was to create and run a business where she could share her passion for dance with others, and to encourage everyone to learn to celebrate the body they have, let go of their inhibitions, and feel the absolute freedom that dance can give you, and so; The Velvet Burlesque was formed.

I’m currently updating the website and planning the next run of Velvet Burlesque™ dance workshops.

What kind of workshops would you be most interested in for upcoming dates?

This could be anything from burlesque choreography, fan dance, chair work, floorwork, heels, confidence and performance, act development, classic tease, vintage showgirl-style movement, or anything else you’d love to explore.

Feel free to comment below with ideas, requests, or anything you’ve been hoping I might bring back from our previous workshops.

I can’t promise every suggestion will fit into the next run, but it would be really helpful to know what you’re most excited about.
