Claro. Ahora está completa, tú puedes construirla también

LEGO just announced its biggest set in history, and it is the Sagrada Família.

The new LEGO Architecture set (number 21065) includes 12,060 pieces, officially beating the previous record holder, a World Map set with 11,695 pieces. The Eiffel Tower set, which many of you might know, had about 10,000. This one leaves both behind.

The model recreates the exterior and interior of Antoni Gaudí's basilica in Barcelona, including 18 towers, three carved façades, and the forest-like interior that makes the real building so unlike any other church in the world.

It goes on sale on November 1, 2026, and can already be pre-ordered directly on LEGO's website. The US price is $799.99.

The timing is no coincidence. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Gaudí's death, and the real Sagrada Família just reached another milestone with the inauguration of the Tower of Jesus Christ. The building has been under construction since 1882, and the LEGO box may be ready before the basilica itself.

Antoni Gaudí spent 43 years building Sagrada Família. He died before it was finished. He knew he would.

That's the kind of person he was. Not someone who designed buildings to impress clients or win awards. Someone who built things that had never been built before, in ways that had never been tried before, and trusted that the world would eventually catch up.

These 5 buildings tell that story.

Casa Vicens was his first major commission, completed in 1885. Nobody outside Barcelona had heard of him. Park Güell was meant to be a high-end neighborhood of 60 homes for the city's elite. Only 2 were ever sold. Casa Batlló has virtually no straight lines anywhere in the building. That was deliberate. Casa Milà broke city zoning rules so badly that the owners were fined the equivalent of a small fortune. They built it anyway. And Sagrada Família, started in 1882, is still under construction today.

Five buildings. Five stories that don't fit into any normal version of how architecture is supposed to work.

All five are in Barcelona.

This is one of the most famous photographs from the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. And the woman diving is not an Olympic athlete.

Her name is Tracey Miles, a British diver of international level who had not qualified for the Games. The photographer needed a diver willing to jump at the Piscina Municipal de Montjuïc in spring, months before the competition began. He called the Spanish swimming federation first. They said it was too cold. Tracey said yes.

The shot required scaffolding. The organising committee put up a small platform so the photographer could position himself at exactly the right angle — the one that places the Sagrada Família directly beneath the arc of the body. Nothing about this image is accidental.

The diving pool sits on the slope of Montjuïc hill, and that elevation is precisely why the Sagrada Família appears in the background. The pool was originally built in 1929 for the Universal Exposition, then renovated for the 1992 Games specifically with that panoramic view in mind.

In the background you can count 8 towers. In 1992, that was all there was: 4 from the Nativity façade, completed between 1925 and 1930, and 4 from the Passion façade, completed in 1976. Today the basilica has 18 towers. The final one, the Tower of Jesus Christ, reached its full height of 172.5 meters in February 2026 — 144 years after construction began.

Un poema de Unamuno por el dia de la madre.

"Hasta que se me fue
no he descubierto
todo lo que la quise;
yo creía quererla; no sabía
lo que es de amor morirse.
Mi madre nació en mí
en aquel día que se me fue...
Madre, dime de dónde vine,
adónde voy perdido,
por qué al amor me diste".
