TEDDY BEAR'S PICNIC - CANCELLED

Unfortunately we have had to make the decision to cancel our Teddy Bear's picnic event due to take place on Thursday afternoon.

This is due to a combination of the weather forecast, and a sickness bug circulating amongst the staff. As it stands it is expected to be 28 degrees on Thursday afternoon, meaning that our outdoor area will be too hot to hold a busy picnic. We are also unsure whether we will have adequate staff to put on a good event.

On Thursday morning staff will have a simplified Teddy Bear's picnic with the children at snack time, when it will be cooler and more shaded in our outdoor area. We will also play the games we had planned and give out prizes. Staff will make sure to take plenty of photos of children enjoying themselves, and put them on Tapestry for parents to see.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused by this decision. We would have loved to have had everyone here for a proper celebration of the end of the school year. Unfortunately, circumstances have conspired against this, and we thought it better to cancel now than do it at short notice if the weather forecast and staffing situation do not change.
