Celebrate 104th Children’s Book Week with Us!

Reading is undoubtedly beneficial in many ways to children and adults. It’s not simply assisting cognitive development, improving literary skills, and increasing levels of creativity and imagination which all lead to a better academic performance.

Reading can also improve the ability to concentrate and focus which is very crucial in this digital age full of constant distractions, it can develop empathy as children put themselves in the characters’ shoes, and it can strengthen the relationships between children and parents while spending time reading together, all of which lead to a healthier mental and emotional well-being.

Benefits of reading are immense, let us know in the comment section below which book you and your children like the most, and what you and your children have learned from it :)

We are recruiting full-time Nursery Practitioners for our ever growing Nature Nursery.

These are exciting times and exciting opportunities for passionate child care practitioners to join us working outdoors. We love those who are committed to focusing on the wellbeing of children and who can inspire and motivate them to play and learn outdoors.

If you are happy getting wet and muddy, be creative, open minded and confident to share ideas and skills within the team, we want to hear from you.

Working with our Forest School Leaders you will join our company who not only provides child care across two Sheffield settings but also a company who trains Forest School leader across the globe. As such we are looking for wonderful, magical, inspirational people who want to make a difference.

If not already trained in Forest Schools, you will have the opportunity to train to Level 3.

Our nursery operates between 8am and 6pm and both our full and part time positions will work around these hours (full time = 37 hours over 4 days with 1 day off). We are open all year round but close between Christmas and New Year.
