🍁Playgroup Cancelled Friday🍁
Unfortunately due to the drains being repaired the path to playgroup is not accessible this week.
Normal service should resume next week.

Call for volunteers 🙏

The playgroup has been operating for about 40 years at the Community Hall behind St Tims Church on Slinn Street Crookes . Its a large hall and we have a garden with a big sandpit and a mud kitchen. We have lots of play resources. We are able to accommodate more children and parents, but the two people who are currently running it have been involved for over 30 years, and we are getting old!
We need 2 extra volunteers per session to help put out toys at the beginning and to tidy away at the end .
We are currently open between 9.15 and 11.15 every Friday and
often parents drop older children at school and then just come along with their younger ones however , small adjustments could be made to these times. If a few people get involved, the tasks could be shared, and volunteers would not be charged for the session .
Unfortunately if we can't find some extra help , we are likely to have to close altogether

Have a think and see if it's something you could get involved in, and be a happy helper!

We're running as usual but request that adults please wear a mask throughout the session unless medically exempt. We look forward to seeing you on Friday 🙂

There's a fab new kitchen area in our outdoor space along with the usual pond, sand pit, sensory garden and water play areas. We think it's looking very smart, what do you think?
