This week's Throwback Thursday takes us back to Easter 1908 with an article from The Mountaineer!

We're featuring a report on an exciting football match against St. Francis Xavier school. It was a hard-fought game with plenty of action – St. Francis Xavier's forward line was particularly strong, but our Mount Eleven put up a great defence and finished the match 2-1!

For the next few weeks, we're delving into the Mount St Mary's College archives to revisit our rich history. Get ready for some amazing old photos and stories dating back to when our doors first opened in 1842!

This week, we're featuring the first page of a typed letter written by John Young, the Mount's first pupil! If you're a current student, an OM, or have ever visited the Mount, you will have walked through Young Gallery, named in his honour.
