Ridgeway Primary School

What an amazing sports week it has been. We have seen the children trying lots of different sports; swimming, hobby horse races, long distance running, field sports (throwing and jumping), martial arts, football and sports day.

Well done to all of Team Ridgeway for the superb effort everyone has put in this week. The week came down to the last leg of the last race of the week, but a huge congratulations to Team New Zealand for winning the week.

What a wonderful week. I could not be more proud of the children and want to thank them for making my last Ridgeway residential such fun. Special memories for us all.

Wet, wet, wet!
That was the theme of the day. But has that stopped us no! Robin Hill, all outdoors, but we have played crazy golf, played on diggers, run the maze, slid down the hillside slide. Fab day. Amazing attitude from all of the children.
We finished the day out with a nice hot chocolate, to warm up.
Now, dinner, showers, packing, a few games and then bed as it is an early morning tomorrow (6am wake up) as we start our journey home.

Slightly more gentle start to the morning today, after last night at the theatre.

Heading off soon for a full day outdoors at Robin Hill Country Park. The downside is that it is set to rain most of the day! Wish us luck!

Just got back from our day out. Great fun at Blackgang Chine- Land of Imagination this morning and, despite heavy rain, brilliant time at Amazon World Zoo Park too.
Now time for dinner, then get ready for the theatre.
