We are nearly ready for our grand reopening on Monday!! This will be my last post as Endcliffe Playgroup - it's the end of an era, but the start of a very exciting new one.

Woo hoo!! We have had the inspector in today and Ofsted have given us the go ahead to open on Monday 6th September. 😁😁😁🥂🥂🥂🥳🥳🥳

We are now officially Hunter's Bar Playschool and will have our new Ofsted number through in the next few days.

Garden before and after. We are cooking on gas now! The pipes are boxed in and the joiner is coming tomorrow to build our indoor storage and the garden gate. So many jobs still to do, but we're definitely underway! Can't wait to move in to our new venue this September. 🥰

Dough, dough and more dough!

We have playdough out every day at Endcliffe Playgroup and the children always love it. It's creative, relaxing, teaches children to share, teaches mathematical concepts, encourages communication, and is great for strengthening children's hands.

Here's our Playdough recipe;

- 260g plain flour
- 100g salt
- 4 tsps cream of tartar
- 2 tbsps oil
- 475ml water

Mix all the dry ingredients together in a pan, along with the oil. Add food colouring and/or scent now if you want to. Turn on the heat and slowly add in the water, stirring all the time. Once it's formed a thick dough, empty onto a work surface and knead for a few minutes.
