💬 Daniel was referred to Portland Training by Northampton Job Centre for Logistics Training – He is fairly new to the Job Market and has had a small amount of experience working with some Employment Agencies on Short term Contracts in manufacturing.

Being on the Autistic Spectrum Daniel asked for some extra time and support from the delivery team to help him understand, process and respond to the theory questions, group activities and practical training.

On his exit survey Daniel made a point that he felt that the course gave him good information into the logistics sector, a good insight of the type of career he wants to progress into and excellent explanation into how to successfully develop professionally and practically.

All of us at Portland are pleased to hear that Daniel has started employment in January 2026 as a full time Forklift Operator in a warehouse environment.

We are sure he will be a great success and wish him all the very best for his future career and life goals.
