Our S3 pupils had two fantastic days in the Peaks for their S3 Camp last week! Working in teams, they navigated across our stunning countryside, trekking from Castle D**e to Totley.
The pupils dusted off their tent and stove skills from last summer's training to pitch up and cook their own hot meals. The night walk provided a whole new perspective as they gazed across the city lights and practiced walking safely in the dark.
Friday brought an exciting range of activities, giving everyone a chance to try out new skills. Highlights included pH sampling, search & rescue, shelter building, stone painting, bug olympics, camp cooking, and games!
It was a joy to see our pupils thriving in the outdoors, showing brilliant resilience, independence, and support for one another throughout the journey. Well done, S3!
