Here at Oak Valley we are proud of the diversity of the community we serve, & of all the different languages that are spoken within our setting.
Children enjoy learning words & phrases in different languages, learning about different countries, religions & festivals.
This month we are focusing on WOLOF.
If you speak Wolof & are able to share any stories, music, newspapers, fabrics, clothing, currency or pictures to further enrich our environment, they would be gratefully received. In addition, if you have any information about your language, or your family’s heritage that you’d like to share, please speak to one of the team; we would love to pass this on within the setting.

Preschool have enjoyed going on a walk to rother valley today and listening to the sounds of nature. We finished the day off with an ice lolly! 🌻☀️

The babies have been enjoying lots of water play this week in the sunshine 🌞💧

Risings 3 have really enjoyed exploring their fine motor skill during our water activities this morning. ☀️🎉
