Each year, all groups need to hold an AGM, and in order to hold your AGM it needs to be registered with us. Once you know when your group plans to hold their AGM you can let us know using this form, linked here

AGM fortnight will be split into two weeks, one either side of the Easter Break.

Week 1: 24/03/23 - 31/03/23
Week 2: 24/02/23 - 30/03/23

They'll be more info about how to host the perfect AGM in the coming weeks, but if you've got any questions before then just drop us a message or an email!

There's still time for you to register a new society for the coming year!

The New Societies Window will be open until Friday 3rd of March, so if you've got an idea for a new student group now is your chance to make it a reality.

New groups will need the 4 core committee members to begin. You can find the info and application form for new societies linked below.

The third round of the Alumni Foundation Fund will close on the 13th February 2023. So if you have an exciting idea for your society, apply for the grant now via the link in our bio!

SOCIETIES EXTRA FUND

The societies extra fund is a great way of getting a little bit of extra money! Open all year round the

grant can provide up to £200 to each applicant society, perfect to subsidise a big event! It can be applied for anything that furthers your societies aims and objectives, but we’re looking especially for applications with a focus on inclusion, innovation and collaboration.

How much?

Up to £200

Examples of what it could be used for

- Transport costs for a trip

- New equipment for your society

- Room hire

- Subsidising big events

- Printing publications

- Anything else you can think of!

The form can be found in the money and funding section of your society support page.

On Tuesday 6th December, the Activities Zone will be hosting the Christmas Showcase. In the past we have had an array of performances from different societies and groups, displaying their amazing talent and getting everyone in the festive spirit.

This Friday is the last day to submit any BACS forms using your A Account balance and have them processed before the A Account reclaim on the 15th of July.

Make sure that your group doesn't miss out on any funding that it's been given!

The B Account balance will carry over as normal and can be used all through the summer and into the new year.
