SACMS is hosting an incredible online talk with Dr Olamide (the founder of Melanin Medics), a national charity that promotes racial diversity in Medicine, enables aspirations to be fulfilled and aids career progression. The talk will cover topics like how to navigate the highs and lows of medicine, getting opportunities in medicine in areas such as research and leadership etc. We hope to see you all there!

Less than 1% of UK blood donors are Black, yet Black and minority donors are urgently needed to treat conditions like sickle cell disease, which mostly affects people of African and Caribbean heritage, however everyone and anyone is welcome!
