A real milestone today for the DJ School... I woke up to my 100th 5-star review! 🙌
A huge thank you to every single person who has taken the time to leave feedback over the years. Your kind words have been incredibly motivating and have reminded me that what I do here genuinely makes a difference. Knowing that people are leaving with new skills, confidence and a love for music is what keeps me going.
This October marks 7 years since I opened the doors to the old Avec building in the city centre. Since then, I've had the privilege of teaching so many amazing people of all ages, all brought together by a curiosity for DJing and music production.
I often think back to my 14-year-old self asking my dad for a pair of battered second-hand belt-drive turntables. I never imagined that, all these years later, I'd still be living a life surrounded by decks and music.
Since 2008, my mission has been simple: pass on my passion to the next generation. From community projects and college lectures to workshops with hundreds of young people, training teachers, and creating performance opportunities for students—it's been an incredible journey.
Here's to the next 100 reviews... and to everyone who's been part of the story so far. ❤️🎧

As the school term comes to an end, it’s a great time to reflect on some of the brilliant work happening across Sheffield and Derbyshire this year. 🎶
A huge thank you to Elijah, who joined me for work experience last week and made a fantastic contribution.
From helping create a promo video and supporting teacher training at in Derby, to showcasing his GCSE DJ set to the Head of Music, Elijah got stuck into it all. He even finished the week building flat-pack furniture at the Studio in Sheffield! 🔨
