We had the best day today at The Nature’s Nest, getting to be outdoors exploring and finding the magic in tree swings, relaxing in Hammocks and exploring the story of The Angel and the Mermaid by Becky Cameron through music, story telling and art 🧜‍♀️👼 The rain held off until home time too Bonus ☔️

Alongside nannying, I also work as the Family Hub Coordinator at Kiveton Family Hub. I’d love to see some familiar faces at our early years groups. We offer a welcoming space that supports children and families together, with opportunities to play, learn, connect, and access wider support if needed. Expect messy play, stories, songs, sensory fun, and plenty of love and laughter and, of course, time for grown-ups to enjoy a cuppa and a chat ☕✨

Pushabout, Monday 13 October, 10.15 - 12.00.

If you have, or look after, pushchair-aged children, come and join our walking group which meets on the second Monday of every month.

During these accessible and beautiful walks you'll meet other adults, find support and build up your fitness on a basic level. The walks are generally around 3 miles in length and mostly on hard standing paths. Friendly volunteers will lead on different routes for the season, and help you explore your walking potential.

Free event, no booking required, admission into the park applies. Meet under the Clock Tower in the main visitor facilities.

Children must remain in the pushchair during the walk.

From the early days of starting a new business, trying to fill my diary. To watching my little buisness grow, meeting new families and getting to attend the most amazing weddings 👰🏻‍♀️ & to this week - watching my 2026 diary fill up with all the new parents who are eagely waiting to welcome their 2026 babies into the world ❤️

To all the littles - thank you for always making sure there’s a bit of laughter in my day. For reminding me that a spare pair of clothes is always needed in my car for spontaneous puddle splashing and happy chaos, thank you for your little plastic tea services and sleepy snuggles at bedtime ❤️ Thank you for all your little pictures and for always asking me if I can have a sleepover and stay for tea 🥰 To little L thank you for always reminding me to pack a spoon in your lunchbox because, yes, a year ago I did forget 😂😂 Watching you all grow into the most confident, kind and caring little people is such a privaledge.

To all of your wonderful parents - Thank you for trusting me with the most precious people in your lives, thank you for showing me I’m appreciated and a valued member of the community your building for your family. I never ever take my duty to care for your children lightly.

Sometimes you just have to get creative with homework - Spooky skeleton volunteered to demonstrate how muscles and tendons work this morning and we even managed to diagnose him with rickets. Apparently more vitamin D is needed in his diet 😂
