Another successful year, another rewarding, blissful spa day with brunch and a woodland wander.

Here at Little Acorns Montessori, we put the child's interests and focus before anything else; following each child and encouraging their progression through a Montessori ethos of independence, respect and guidance. From our cosy, welcoming home we invite you to discover a different way of raising independent children along with their friends.

If you enjoy visiting farms, zoos, gymnastics, musical concerts, woods, museums and many other outings as well as having cosy days indoors then we may be the place for you!

We are looking for a friendly, patient and experienced Early Years Practitioner (minimum level 3) to join our wonderfully 'Outstanding' childcare setting in South Anston. If you’re looking to step away from mainstream childcare and find something different, have a browse of our page and see if we’re the right setting for you.

We are open 8.00-6.00, 5 days a week; this post is for 2 days a week within the opening hours with the prospect of increased hours in the spring term. We welcome cvs with a cover letter to [email protected]

Childcare experience and a Level 3 in Childcare are essential, further training will be provided.

As we headed toward the end of the summer, we had a final adventure for those wonderful little souls leaving us for their next endeavour, welcomed our new cohort into the fold and our 3 year olds began the next stage of their riding journey, hands free already! With a lot of blackberry picking thrown into the mix🤭

As school days drew to an end for the summer, we invited IKids Research Study over for some games and activities which our Little Acorns excelled in, followed by a few more trips to Clumber Park NT, Whitwell Woods and more!

Ohh July.... With the Buddleia in bloom, we visited our growing froglets, the creatures of The Deep, the patient ponies at Coloured Cob Equestrian Centre, Pebble the Tortoise and gang at Tropical Butterfly House Wildlife Conservation Park and got to grips with the half pipe at the local skate park... all alongside pool parties, lazy days and impromptu cuddles, group hugs, grace and courtesy 🥰
